Finally found libmp3lame.dylib

Assistance for Audacity on macOS.

Audacity 1.2.x and ane.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you lot withal have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now airtight, but you lot tin withal read the archives of the 1.ii.10 and ane.3.ten forums.

Finally found libmp3lame.dylib

I tried several times to get this library (libmp3lame.dylib) for mp3 exporting. I couldn't find it on the recommended download link: http://lame.buanzo.org/

I installed via dmg and zip, simply it was no where to exist institute. Finally found it on this site: http://spaghetticode.org/lame/

Information technology says it is for Audacity one.two.6, simply it seems to work for two.1.1

Strange site. No frontpage and Lame is the only thing on the site. It's 3 years former and it looks similar in that location hasn't been anything done on the site since.

Information technology'due south probably not malware, tho...

It's probably not malware, tho...

Really, spaghetticode.org is endemic past Dominic, one of the Audacity co-founders: https://who.is/whois/spaghetticode.org.

So it is not intentional malware. Information technology was malware for a while a few years ago, considering the site was unmaintained and got compromised by an assail.

The moral is the same - download from the recommended LAME site.
